Data Analyst - Financial Services - Essential

DATA ANALYST - BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES

Outsource UK are looking to recruit a DATA ANALYST with strong experience in the FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY in addition to SQL You will be working at a high profile financial services organisation based in Milton Keynes who in return are looking to offer a 12 month contract.

OVERVIEW/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Develop meaningful reports to support the needs of the Business.
- Working with large amounts of data: facts, figures, statistics. You will need to see through the data and analyze it to find conclusions.
- Present findings, or translate the data into an understandable document.
- Understand trends/data and come to new conclusions based on the findings.
- A keen eye for detail ensuring you are vigilant in your analysis to come to correct conclusions.
- Provide succinct interpretation upon analysis of data where it is appropriate to do so.
- Support and maintain data structures used in forecasting and planning models which support the Business requirements.
- Ensure data integrity and data security across all reporting and adhere to the principles of Data Governance.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS WILL IDEALLY INCLUDE:

- Financial Services experience
- Excellent PC skills and high standard of skill within data manipulation and reporting.
- Experience developing reports and ability to analyse large volumes of data and produce concise reports
- Experience using all Microsoft Office products with Advanced Skills in Excel.
- Excellent numeracy skills with ability to interpret results and appropriate course of action.
- Experience of accounting systems, report writing skills, knowledge of basic accountancy.
- Previous experience in a data analyst position.
