Data Analyst - Exploratory Data Analysis and Statistics

For our client, a pharmaceutical company in Switzerland, we are looking for a motivated and ambitious:

DATA ANALYST - EXPLORATORY DATA ANALYSIS AND STATISTICS

BACKGROUND:

The successful candidate will perform exploratory and confirmatory statistical analysis of big sensor data collected from smartphones and other wearables in clinical trials to discover digital biomarkers required to assess drug efficacy.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Analyzing big data sets
- Data visualization

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE:

- +5 years of experience with analysing big data sets, data visualization
- Excellent analytical and scientific communication skills
- Profound experience with analysing biomedical and sensor data
- Deep knowledge in MS Office, R, Python, Matlab or similar software packages/languages
- Software development and big data infrastructures
- Fluent in English and one additional language
- Self-starting team player
- Very good university degree in statistics, mathematics or a natural science

NICE TO HAVE:

- Project-based work experience in the pharmaceutical industry/consulting preferred
- PhD is preferred

START DATE: 17.04.2017

End date: 13.09.2017 (plus possible extension)
