DATA ANALYST - DUBLIN - 6 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION - €285/DAY
A CUSTOMER CENTRIC AMERICAN TELECOM'S COMPANY IS CURRENTLY SEEKING A HIGHLY EXPERIENCED DATA ANALYST TO WORK ON A CONTRACT BASIS WITH THEIR TEAM BASED IN DUBLIN.
TVC ROLE FOR CORE BTP PROCESS SUPPORT
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
- Strong Project management skills.
- Strong written/verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of networking, network infrastructure, and provisioning practices.
- Experience with analytical software and database tools.
- Expertise with database environments, reporting tools and/or Scripting languages. Strong experience with SQL.
- Advanced spreadsheet (Excel and/or equivalent) skills: must have full knowledge of entire suite of Excel formulas.
- Preference for previous work with Google AppScript and Google BigQuery.
SCOPE OF WORK:
- Bug/Task tracking - Support T/PM in ensuring open tasks/bugs are completed a timely manner. Track all open tasks and prioritise correctly.
- Data formatting - Gain understanding of pre-defined tables. Take technical data descriptions and populate into pre-defined tables. Understand the context of data in tables to be able to identify errors in data integrity or data layout.
- Data Cross/Sanity checking - Regularly check data between tools (Design tool, Project Tracking tool) to ensure that data is aligned. Create Diff reports and fallout reports to show results of data cross check analysis.
- Data clean-up - Support network data clean-up by creating and using fallout reports. This work may require reaching out periodically to team members to fix or gather missing data.
- Reporting - Support development and implementation of new reports using SQL and datasets from various databases. These reports will be used for various purposes including network design, analysis, and measuring network inventory data completeness and accuracy.
- Data maintenance - Regular monitoring and upkeep of data tables, fallout reports, and associated queries to maintain the integrity of the data.
- Automation Prototyping - Create new custom tools to prototype the automation of manual tasks through the use of various data manipulation tools such as SQL and Scripting languages.
