Data Analyst - Credit Decisioning

Our client, a large Financial Services organisation in Edinburgh requires an experienced Data Analyst to join a Current Account project. This particular requirement is for a data analyst with experience of Firserv, Hunter or Probe.

*Working in an IT function within the financial sector
*Data analysis background - data mapping, gathering, analysis
*Interpret business requirements and to specify functional & non-functional requirements as part of the overall definition of solutions to support business needs.
*Assist in all stages of a project ensuring that the business needs are helping to drive the programme of work.
*Act as the link between the business, architecture, the development and testing teams on all projects.
*Identify and manage requirements change, and their implications, across the life cycle
*Ensure compliance with data standards.
*Provide quality assurance of business requirement deliverables
*Understand business strategy and how IT solutions will enable this strategy.
*Collect, analyse and trace business and technical requirements through the life cycle of projects and ensure they are met.
*Ensure the business requirements of my stakeholders are considered in all other IT workstreams.
