DATA ANALYST - BUSINESS OBJECT MODEL (BOM) - 6 MONTHS - ZURICH, SWITZERLAND
For my client I'm urgently seeking for a GERMAN speaking Data Analyst - Business Object Model (BOM). For this role a good level of German is a must, as documentation is written German.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the existing conceptual data model/application Business Object Model (BOM).
- Specify data attributes from a business and from a technical perspective in close collaboration with business and IT subject matter experts.
- Evaluate existing data warehouse sources and identify required data elements (data analysis).
Create end-to-end specifications, ie source-to-target from database to database. - Define business rules for computed items and complex transformations.
Required skills
- Experience in a similar role as requirements engineer/business analyst/data analyst/data architect
- Strong banking know-how, especially in the securities area
- Data analysis skills (eg SQL)
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Fluent written and spoken German (as some databases are documented in German)
- Strong analytical problem solving skills
Advantageous skills
- Experience in data warehouse/Business Intelligence environment is a plus
- Experience in ETL tools is a plus
- Experience in Reporting/BI Tools is a plus
- Degree level qualification in computing
