Data Analyst (Business Intelligence)

DATA ANALYST (BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE)
Location: Liege
Duration: 5 months + extensions

My Client, who operates within the Public Sector, is looking for an interim Data Analyst. You will be positioned to work within their offices in Liege.

JOB SPECIFICATION

The Data Analyst role will provide experience to support the implementation of a production BI environment (based on Microsoft SQL 2008 BIDS).

REQUIREMENTS/PERSON SPECIFICATION

Here are some of the key characteristics my client is looking for:

- Ability and experience in Business Intelligence architecture and design
- Extract, transform and load skills using SSIS including VB/C# Scripting for text file imports
- Experience of designing and building ODS, datamarts and data warehouses
- Designing & implementing an MDM environment
- Knowledge of the BI vendor market and experience of procurement
- Use of GIS systems and spatial data within a BI/data mining environment
- Experience with data mining and analytics including operational application of predictive modelling (eg decision trees, neural networks)
- Any skills relating to Big Data and other emerging BI areas (data virtualisation)
