Data Analyst - Banking/Financial Services - Essential

DATA ANALYST - BANKING/FINANCIAL SERVICES

Outsource UK are looking to recruit a DATA ANALYST with strong experience in the FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY in addition to SQL You will be working at a high profile financial services organisation based in Milton Keynes who in return are looking to offer a 12 month contract.

OVERVIEW/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- To provide statistical/analytical input into business projects and ATM projects
- Working in conjunction with other analysts to model the impact of business initiatives and scenarios
- To validate any analysis proposals
- To interpret and document the data outputted from these models
- Support and drive statistical reports
- Create and establish reports and identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and analysis
- Establish the operation of operational data store
- The logical development from risk modelling to the analysis of real options
- Engage and collaborate with a number of different stakeholders within the business

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS WILL IDEALLY INCLUDE:

- Data analysis experience within Banking
- Strong reporting experience
- Excellent understanding of data analysis techniques and experience handling large volumes of data and interpreting it into insight to help direct business action
- Modelling languages and data mining techniques
