Data Analyst - Banking

One of our key clients, a large UK bank are looking to recruit a Data Analyst for a strategic finance change project which they are undertaking. The role will be based in the East Midlands. This jobholder will join a new re-engineering programme in order to help the bank change to a client centric operating model. There will be a number of stages to this programme, with longevity of 12 to 18 months.

Responsibilities

- Lead all data analysis between the Legacy system and new system.
- Define, collect, understand and communicate all data analysis needs.
- Strong ETL experience
- Stakeholder engagement and interact with a number of other project teams.
- Data and requirements gathering
- Work with Enterprise Architects in order to create new platform and help in designing the new projects platform.
- Manage third parties from scope, data requirements, designing, building, testing and implementing project, end to end.
- Escalate issues as necessary
- Validate and take part in cost/benefit analysis for change proposals
- Undertake Gap analysis and impact analysis

Essentials

- Previous data analysis experience within a bank
- Previous stakeholder management experience
- Previous commercial finance in invoice discounting and factoring knowledge
