Data Analyst/Analyst/Reporting Analyst

BACKGROUND TO ENGAGEMENT

The Senior Customer Development Planning Analyst fulfils a key role in the organisation. The post holder will need to be able to take a robust analytical view of the current and potential future customer development activities and markets, but crucially, this must be coupled with an ability to translate into communicable, actionable and measurable targets and deliverables. An innovative approach to customer development coupled with the drive to deliver change is required. The emphasis is on proactive communication with key stakeholders to deliver retention, upsell and value targets. Strong drive and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across the organisation are required. The person appointed will be strong commercially with high analytical ability.

SCOPE OF WORK
Assist in forecasting of customer losses and internal transfers with the aim of optimising product decision. Work with the Customer & Market Insight team to develop customer segmentation models and with Marketing Operations to ensure successful deployment of customer segmentation. Strong excel skills and experience of creating models is essential.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE EXPECTED
 A strong strategic thinker who is highly numerate and analytical with a proven track record of commercial acumen to deliver not only volume but also value. Proven experience of designing and implementing customer segmentation models to deliver targeted communications and experience to deliver retention and upgrade target. Ability to identify the key drivers of account losses and create winning strategies and plans to improve customer segmentation. Experience of dealing with and influencing Directors and Heads Of Departments. Educated to degree level or equivalent, with further marketing or business qualifications and in-job experience in Marketing and/or Sales functions preferable.
