DATA ANALYST - MEDICAL DEGREE/PUBLIC HEALTH EXPERIENCE
Are you a highly qualified Data Analyst with experience within a mutinational and muticultural environment and looking for an exciting new opportunity within an NGO
If so, please have a look at the following details:
Experis IT Switzerland is currently on the search for a Data Analyst to join one of their clients, an NGO, based in Geneva.
YOUR ROLE:
Under the supervision of the Senior Technical Coordinator, Technical Advisor and Coordinator Consultant, you will perform the following activities:
- Continuation and expansion of current Dashboard with the examination of areas of overlap and synergies and potential mutual support between the current Dashboard and tools
- Support the establishment of a common framework
- Build the methodology for selecting one to two countries to test the framework.
YOUR DELIVERABLES:
Some of your deliverables will include:
- Support the construction of the report with findings and agreement on areas of congruence between the Dashboard and the current approach.
- Support the consolidation of the structured approach health system performance diagnosis and strengthening in view of progressive realization
- Document the proposed methodology for selecting four to five countries to test the framework.
- Produce analysis on health systems performance across the selected countries, including the results from the tracking system and programmatic indicators.
- Dissemination of evidences and results via international or national meetings, as well as making use of existing communities of learning and other knowledge management platforms.
- Support the edition of the final reports providing accurate analysis on findings per country.
TO DELIVER THE REQUIRED RESULTS, IT'S ESSENTIAL THAT YOU HAVE:
- A medical degree or specialised post-graduate qualification in public heath or health care management
- Understanding of primary health care models and experience in the design, planning and evaluation of them.
- Proven experience of complex quantitative analysis and dashboards, preferably across multiple countries or geographies.
- A minimum of three years of experience at international and country level in the areas of health systems strengthening, primary health care, community systems and disease programs.
- An understanding of the international health arena and direct exposure to health environments both at national and international levels.
- Proven experience of drafting clear, concise analysis and reports.
- Fluent in English, working knowledge of French
