Business Intelligence Specialist - focus on data management
Job content:
. You are responsible for the proper management of address and location/site data in the DataWarehouse
. You are looking at the various critical source of data on this subject are available in the DataWarehouse and make it consistent
. You make the final link between the technical network rollout planning and commercial customer data. .
Furthermore you analyze critically the various initiatives on improving the data quality of these sources from a database/DataWarehouse point.
. Structuring the necessary datasets (data marts) needed for this at the DataWarehouse and it extracts the required data via SQL from the data warehouse belonging to your domain. .
The end result (report or analysis) is converted into a user-friendly layout
. You interpret the transmitted data and draw conclusions. .
You maintain the necessary contacts with the data architects and DataWarehouse team so your data flows underlying your data marts - understands analyzes.
Required skills:
* You have a university degree or have equivalent experience (economics, marketing, IT, ... quantitative analysis)
* You have a good knowledge of SQL (Oracle/Teradata) and Microsoft Office (Excel)
* You have a good knowledge of BI tools, databases and data warehouse
* You have 2-3 years experience in an analytical business environment
* You have a great sense of precision and have strong analytical skills,
* You are dynamic, flexible, enterprising and proactive
* You are sociable, you are a team player and have strong communication skills
* You have a positive and constructive mindset
* You work independently, you can properly manage time and multiple projects in parallel processing
* You are stress resistant to accommodate peak moments.
* You have a good knowledge of Dutch and/or French and English
