Data Analyst

Seeking data analyst responsible for supporting the migration of data from old application to new application. Specific responsibilities and qualifications are listed below.

Responsibilities for the position include:

Quickly become familiar with client business challenges, processes, and technologies

Document current state data elements, data quality, and reporting capabilities

Identify opportunities for improvements based on data profiling in terms of data quality, consistency, and efficiency

Elicit and document future-state data needs and requirements
-

Analyze data, interpret results, and provide insights back to the business
-

Communicate with all levels of stakeholders including executives, vendors, developers, and customers
-

Build logical and physical data models based on requirements
-

Define data transformations based on business requirements
-

Support ETL development to cleanse and stage Legacy data

Specific qualifications includes:

Experience with Business Intelligence tools preferred

Experience with data integration tools preferred

Experience with data analysis/data profiling tools required

Strong knowledge of databases required

Strong SQL skills required
-

Minimum 3 years experience as data analyst
