Data Analyst

GCS has a new contract requirement for a skilled DATA ANALYST to join our DUBLIN CITY based client. This is an initial 6 month daily rate contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Working with project team to migrate to new system.
- Agreeing essential attributes/formats and implementing.
- Gathering & uploading existing/new client data to new system.
- Building models for the analysis of property & financials metrics.
- Programming solutions using Excel queries, macros and pivot tables. SQL or related Object Oriented tools a plus.
- Developing ad hoc financial and statistical analysis of financial/property data.
- Design layout of reports and determine the best way to present data to end users including dynamic form and query building.
- Design and implement new data models as required, to support high performance and high reliability.
- Prepare required documentation.
- Be available out-of-business hours for production support.

EXPERIENCE:

- 3rd level qualification in a business or IT field.
- 2+ years' work experience in a similar role.
- Strong analytical skills and strong Excel skills, including rules and macros.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team skills.
- Development of reports in the following formats: PDF, Excel, CSV and formatted text.
- Detail oriented, strong organizational skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with SQL development/reporting a plus.
