Data Analyst

Excellent opportunity for a Data Analyst to join an established public sector organisation based in Oxford to provide expertise on large marketing campaigns.

Required skills;

- Technical ability and experience in the use of data mining and analytic tools such as Faststats, Alterian, SAS, SPSS etc and appreciation of database structures
- Able to express complex technical information to non-technical staff
- A high level of numeracy and understanding of analytical concepts and business statistics
- A knowledge of database marketing and direct marketing techniques and terminology
- Self motivated to constantly improve knowledge and advancement of self and team
- Good Knowledge of market place, suppliers, industry trends, data protection, suppressions and data lists
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills, resilient under pressure, confident and articulate
- Strong skills with people & performance management
- Knowledge of relational database structures and database querying languages (eg SQL)
