My client is currently recruiting for a Data Analyst to analyse the financial and resource data for the IT department to support decisions moving forward. The successful candidate will have extensive data analysis experience with advanced Excel and SAS skills and ideally Tablo however this is not essential.

Responsibilities:
* Providing technical expertise in all data related elements of IT solutions.
* Create and maintain data models, data mapping and other technical artefacts to aid design, build and test teams.
* Reporting requirements gathering, impacting and analysis including working with Business users to translate their needs into Technical report specification documents.
* Sharing knowledge of tools and techniques with the wider team
* Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, quality assurance, and other team members, representing the Data analyst and development teams to implement solutions and oversee deployment.
* Ability to work as part of a team dealing professionally with both technical and business colleagues.
* Ability to work under pressure to meet Project deadlines

* Data analysis skills, working with business analysts, domain experts and business users.
* Mentor and coach in-house staff, transferring skills and experience.
* Gather and review data related information for the department.
* Contribute to Data Analysis Best Practice.
* Strong relational database knowledge
* Strong client and delivery focus with a commitment to building in-house capability.
* Excellent communication skills with Technical and non-Technical staff.
* Excellent planning, control, time management and personal organisation.
* Analysis and decision making.
* Ability to work as part of a team.
