Data Analyst

A leading Financial Services company in Edinburgh is looking to recruit a number of Data Analysts on initial 6 month contracts.

ROLE:

These positions will sit within the Data Management Team and successful candidates will be responsible for performing a number of business analysis functions within the programme.

- Deliver high quality, clear and accurate current state management information
- Lead workshops
- Managing Stakeholders relationships
- Defining and documenting business requirements
- Identify and investigate data quality issues
- Identify Root causes of issues based on data mining and analysis
- Support remediation planning

REQUIREMENTS:

- Extensive Business analysis experience - SAS/SQL for data analysis - Essential
- Business Analysis/Project Management methodology
- Root cause analysis experience
- Strong understanding of data quality and data governance
- Understanding of Customer and UK Credit Bureaux data
- Experience in defining and documenting business requirements

Advanced - MS Office skills, ability to use Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and MS Project
