Data Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We have an outstanding contract opportunity for an Operations Analyst to make their mark with one of the world's largest international banking and financial services companies. In the role of a Operations Analyst, you will play an integral role in helping our client deliver market leading services that set it apart from its competitors.

ADDITIONAL POSITION DETAILS:

- Run and maintain daily reconciliations between DTCC and RBS systems
- Escalation of any Incidents which have a P&L or Reputational impact to Manager
- Maintenance and development of the control environment to minimise issues by eradicating errors and avoiding reputational risk.
- Contribute to the documentation of all new processes and functionality
- Ensure appreciation of different support requirements for internal and external customers.
- Close liaison with the DTCC, Market Initiatives Team and Projects team to ensure the timely and efficient resolution of queries is completed.
- Support and enhance relationships with all relevant Stakeholders
- Clear and concise communication with all clients and support teams to ensure the timely and efficient dissemination of information and the resolution of queries arising.

CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

- Ability to communicate successfully with key internal and external clients (telephone, e-mail, fax, written reports, formal correspondence, presentations etc)
- Ability to think logically
- Robust PC skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Macros/VBA)
- Be able to work in a fast pace environment to support volatile markets and tight deadlines
- Experience of investigations in any financial markets area
- Experience of adhering to external regulatory requirements
