Data Analyst

This individual needs to possess demonstrated success at developing sophisticated Access databases with corresponding Excel interfaces (ie Excel as the Front End). The individual will need to understand how to manage large amounts of data within Access and utilize various tables, relationships and queries to create a final "table" from which Excel can query from using pivot table functionality. The individual will need to have a high level of proficiency in Visual Basic with the capability to quickly understand existing code as well as the ability to define new Visual Basic code to enhance functionality. The projects the individual will support include assisting in the development of a database that can track and summarize our sample shipments; development of an enhanced version of a transactional pricing tool that currently exists; providing additional support to streamline our existing Access/Excel databases.

SKILLS:
5-7 years demonstrated success in using Access, Excel and Visual Basic for the purposes of developing financial steering databases and applications is preferred.
