This candidate will assist with leading a technical team to meet the daily requirements associated with converting 25,000+ enterprise end users to the Windows 7. The Data Analyst will manage the database for the deployment management tool, making customizations to the tool and reports to support the deployment process.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Manage the database for the deployment management tool.
- Import user and machine data as it becomes available.
- Develop and deliver custom reports as needed.
- Make customizations to the deployment management tool with the assistance of the development team.
- Assist leads in the Rollout Command Center with data analysis.
- Gather business application requirements to determine which applications are Windows7 compliant.
- Collect data to create an end user profile listing to include, user credentials, applications used, location etc.
- Prepare data that identifies the end user readiness and create/distribute various daily/weekly reports.
- Create ad hoc reports and solutions to meet the program team and RCC requests.
- Suggest methods for improving speed, efficiency, accuracy or repeatability of conversion process.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookup and reference functions)
- Experience with Access and/or SQL database
- 5 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server
- Knowledge of statistical methodologies and techniques
- Remedy (or other incident tracking tool) experience a plus
- Strong communications skills
- Creative, out-of-the-box, thinking
- Ability to show initiative, good judgment, and resourcefulness
- Ability to think independently, solves problems, and develops solutions
- Possess a high degree of professionalism, and have a good understanding of dynamic and challenging environments
