Data Analyst

My client a leading Energy provider in the UK currently has an urgent opportunity for a Data Analyst.

They are seeking an experienced Data Analyst advanced skills in Excel to collate and analyse trials data within the Smart Metering programme.

Experience Required:

- Fully-developed understanding of data analysis methods & tools
- Understanding of business rules underlying data analysis
- Ability to draft reporting design documents in response to business requirements
- Excellent professional-level use of Excel/other data tools
- Ability to develop a detailed quantitative response to high-level business questions, backed up with sound data analysis, logic, and statistical rigour
- Report/dashboard development
- Ability to carry out independent investigation & analysis in search of additional value/insight
- Understanding of the key business functions of an energy retail company, and main industry issues/challenges
