Data Analyst

We are currently searching for a Data Analyst to work in Den Haag, The Netherlands for 6 months + extensions. This is a fantastic contract opportunity for a large multi-national client.

The ideal candidate must have the following skills:

- The role of the consultant is to work with multiple groups to help analyze data. They will need to be able to think outside the box; to purpose creative ways to solve problems.
- First Point of Contact with Business SMEs to gather Solution Requirements
- Assess needs and requirements of the customer; describe and document as needed
- Strategic resource to assist consultants in solution development
- Strategic resource to assist lead in solution development
- Follow-up with customers regarding Value Registry to capture business ROI
- Assist first line support in answering basic Spotfire questions
- Training ability in both virtual and class room settings

MANDATORY:
- Experience working with BI tools - Spotfire preferred, but not required
- Minimum 5 years Business Analyst or Project related experience
- Demonstrated ability to understand the business process issues
- Ability to do user design and analysis
- Apply new tools to significantly expand the user's productivity
- Provide easy information access to end users based on their needs
- Excellent organization and communication skills
- Business process automation and workflow
- Consulting experience in Oil & Gas industry is preferable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in: Information Systems or Computer Science or mathematics
- Background in advanced computing, coding, visualization, data warehousing, statistics or other related areas

OPTIONAL:
- Knowledge of any or all of the following: .net, SQL, SQL Server Analysis Server and Reporting Services, Performance Point, Excel Services, SharePoint, InfoPath, Silverlight
