Data Analyst

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a DATA ANALYST to work with a dedicated and hardworking team. Providing assistance to the Data Manager, you will be focusing on the development of an online system.

YOUR DUTIES:

- Designing and generating data reports from a large volume of base data
- Using VBA in Microsoft Office to automate the work
- Communicating with data providers regarding data supply arrangement and data quality issues

YOUR BACKGROUND:

- Experience in data management including data capture, data transfer over FTP or sFTP, data cleansing and reporting
- Knowledge of relational database model and experience in developing data queries using SQL
- Demonstrated skills in Access 2003/2007 and data analysis skills using Excel 2003/2007
- Proven experience and skills in developing VBA programs in Excel and Access
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

- Data management experience in SQL Server or PostreSQL.
- Experience in using GIS software
- The ability to facilitate meetings
