JOB SUMMARY AND MISSION: Validates and monitors process and data integrity across multiple systems in support of business unit decisions. Audits moderately complex new and existing database systems applications to ensure that appropriate controls exist, that processing is efficient and accurate, and that standardized processes are in place to support business unit needs.

SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Creates ad hoc queries and reports or provides quantitative data to meet data needs of the business unit or department.
- Creates data interfaces to ensure that data accurately transfers between multiple systems and applications.
- Develops, maintains, and communicates system and application operating procedures and desk guides.
- Educates and provides ongoing training for end users on programs, procedures and data attributes.
- Ensures data accuracy.
- Maintains system audits to ensure shared applications within the organization are accurate.
- Resolves all data discrepancies through determining the source of the inconsistency and tracking issues to resolution.
- Enters information into databases and coordinates regular and emergency database maintenance to keep information up to date.
- Processes data change requests and may modify information in related spreadsheet files or templates.
- Maintains history files and problem logs for each monthly system download and analyzes trends.
- Serves as a subject matter expert on cross functional teams and projects to support key business objectives.
- Represents business unit data requirements or educates on data availability and appropriateness.
- May lead cross functional teams to resolve process issues and determine more effective procedures to support business needs.
- Works independently to control data integrity as defined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) manual.
- Communicates data and timing concerns with management as needed.

- Maintaining large amounts of complex data and ensuring data integrity: 2 years
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lead cross functional teams in resolving process concerns and developing new processes
- Ability to support projects and manage the process independently, including defining, developing, documenting and executing multiple related tasks
- Working knowledge of relational databases and enterprise wide system interfaces
