D3 VISUALISATION PROGRAMMER

We are currently working on behalf of a Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer based in Macclesfield. They are now looking to recruit an experienced Programmer for an initial 2 Month contract.

OVERVIEW

The candidate will join a project to deliver bespoke query and visualisation interfaces to an in-house scientific community. The project is led by an experienced Informatician working with Information owners in late-stage drug development; this new role is to provide interactive visualisations to meet existing demands.

The role holder will work closely with the Project Lead and Business Owner. The nature of the project means that the role holder will need to work collaboratively and flexibly, work in the absence of a formal requirement specification, be innovative within the scope of the work required and cope with uncertainty.

The assignment is expected to be for a period of 2 months and the role holder would ideally be flexible to work across 2 sites in Cheshire.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE

- Application of D3 JavaScript libraries for interactive data visualisations, and database expertise
- Experience of interacting with users

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

- Experience in visualisation for mobile devices, and/or experience of using Spotfire, would be advantageous
- Pharmaceutical experience.
