Cyber Security Specialist - Nuclear

Seeking a Certified Information Systems Security Technical Specialist (ICS2).

The responsibilities include completion of the cyber security project for a decommissioning nuclear facility IAW NEI 08-09 Appendix(s) D&E and station procedures.

Required (Minimum) Qualifications.

8 or more years experience in cyber security, network management

4 or more years experience with Nuclear plant security systems.

Certified by ICS2 as an Information Systems Security Specialist or equivalent.

Knowledgeable of and experience working with the requirements of 10CFR73.54 & 10CFR73.55 as well as with RG 5.71.

Expertise on hardware, software, databases, and systems integration, grooming and testing.

Excellent work history and demonstrated professional growth throughout career.

Desired Qualifications:

Highly desirable to have a four year BS or BA degree from a recognized institution in computer or electrical sciences or engineering.

Two year degree with an associate's degree from a recognized institution in computer or electrical sciences or engineering. Available to start immediately.

Senior Systems Programmer or Senior Technical Specialist meeting the above qualifications.

Must be able to pass criminal background check, have valid driver's license and pass drug screen.

Local candidates preferred. Must be able to work w-2 hourly. Please NO third parties or subcontractors.C
