Cyber Security Specialist Job

CYBER SECURITY SPECIALIST - MID needed for a long-term contract opportunity with Yoh's client located in Quantico, VA.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- Information Assurance
- Security + CE
- Secret Clearance

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Under general supervision, operate all aspects of Information Systems, data availability, integrity, authentication, confidentiality, and non-repudiation.
- Implement and monitor security measures for communication systems, networks, and provide advice that systems and personnel adhere to established security standards and Governmental requirements for security on these systems.
- Operate Host Based Security System (HBSS), Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, other point of presence security tools, Virtual Private Networks, and related security operations.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Five to nine (5-9) years of related experience.
- High school Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED).

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Specialty Area: Host Protection - McAfee, Symantec, HBSS, endpoint encryption and data loss prevention.
