Role - Cyber Security Events Analyst
Location - Mons, Belgium
Duration - Until the end of 2018
*MUST HAVE CURRENT DV/NATO COSMIC TOP SECRET CLEARANCE*
Overview:
Cyber Security Events Analysts have the ability to detect, identify and analyze cyber-related events across a number of sources, identifying possible threats and taking appropriate action.
Activities to be performed:
o Analysis and handling of network security or other cyber security related events
o Security event management and analysis, especially with the configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and management of ArcSight products
o Management, use and analysis of events from Network Based Intrusion Detection Systems (NIDS)
o Management, use and analysis of events from Host Based Intrusion Detection Systems (HIDS)
o Knowledge in the use of a variety of Security Event generating sources (eg.. Firewalls, IDS, Routers, Security Appliances)
o Deployment, configuration and maintenance of network security appliances and networking devices and associated management software
o Operate both normal working days and on 24x7 shifts
Requested skills, competencies and toolset knowledge:
Experience with or working knowledge of ArcSight products
Due to the nature and urgency of this post, candidates holding or who have held high level security clearance in the past are most welcome to apply. Please note successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment which can take up to a minimum 18 weeks.
