CYBER SECURITY ENGINEER/PYTHON DEVELOPER
Our leading client within the financial sector is looking for a self motivated, highly proactive IT Security Engineer with Python Development skills who can support their program in developing cyber incident detection capabilities.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify, analyse & describe user cases for incident detection in the cyber security area.
- Analyse the available information & propose an incident detection strategy.
- Develop & test the specified incident detection strategies.
- Support the documentation of response procedures & describing steps for how to respond to alerts on predefined user cases.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- Good understanding of cloud related security concepts.
- Hands on experience in developing incident detection strategies preferably on open source solutions.
- Advanced development skills in Python.
- Fluent verbally & written in English.
HAVE AN ABILITY:
- Understand complex technology stacks & their dependencies.
- Understand security as well as operational requirements to translate to technical solutions.
- Work in a global company with different cultural backgrounds.
- Assume responsibility & drive project autonomously.
