Cyber Security Concept Developer- Conract-Mons-Belgium- 90 plus days- NEG
A Personal Security Clearance (PSC) at least to the level of SC/NATO SECRET
SCOPE
The individual Cyber Security Concept Developer will be assigned various demand-driven tasks in support of ACO Crypto Modernization, which may for instance cover the following activities:
- Providing an independent survey of all NATO On-line and Off-line Crypto, for accountability, serviceability and re-use.
- Providing a report outlining recommendations for retention or disposal of NATO Crypto equipment.
- Providing advice and support to ACO in the completion of the additional/exceptional tasking's from the Military Committee (MC) related to Crypto Modernization.
- Planning and implementation of mitigation measures. Assistance in the planning and implementation of contingencies.
- Providing reports to inform discussions with Nations and support decisions/recommendations made to the MC.
- Provide support to ACO on the Crypto Modernization related activities.
DELIVERABLE
The delivered outcome is the provision of a full-term equivalent of a specialized Level 2 Cyber Security Concept Developer as specified in the following section.
QUALIFICATIONS
The individual suitable to work on the Program of Work shall have the following qualifications, as specified for a Level 2 Cyber Security Concept Developer in the NCI Agency Service Support Contract for Area 4 (Cyber):
Skills, Competencies and Toolset Knowledge:
- Knowledge of cyber security approaches and systems for detection of malicious activity
- Knowledge of cyber security approaches and systems for prevention and mitigation of malicious activity
- Knowledge of approaches and systems for cyber security decision support Knowledge of approaches and systems to recover from attacks
- Knowledge of various risk management approaches
- Knowledge of cyber security approaches for trustworthiness assessments such as common criteria
- Experience in concept development and validation Experience with cyber security architecture development
- Experience in requirements management and system design of cyber security systems
Essential Certifications and Graduations
The individual shall hold:
A Personal Security Clearance (PSC) at least to the level of SC/NATO SECRET
A University degree equivalent to at least Master degree (preferably in Computer Science and/or Information Security). If such an educational level has not been attained, extensive or unique knowledge or experience is required.
Experience
The individual is expected to be an expert in his/her discipline with considerable experience. The individual has been Lead Staff on large and complex projects or been responsible for significant research work.
As the Program of Work focuses on cryptographic capabilities, the individual is expected to have demonstrable extensive working experience with cryptographic mechanisms.
