Cyber Security Analyst

For one of our clients in the financial industry we are currently looking for a Cyber Security Analyst for a 1 year contract in Zürich. The candidate will be working within a Cyber security program evaluating different technical solutions to monitor for standard and privileged users activities with a focus on applications and data marts containing sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities

- Effectively recognize and respond to cyber threats targeting the company
- Design a fully operational Security Information and Event Management Solution (SIEM) for a SOC (Security Operation Centre)
- Collaborate with different stakeholders within the Security Monitoring projects and provide guidance to security engineers
- Accomplish compliance with Swiss regulations and leading practices in the cyber security space
- Study the complex information systems, cyber security concepts, cyber threats and market leading solutions

Ideal profile

- Strong cyber security background
- Previous experience in setting up Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) capabilities within a SOC
- Prior experience with Cyber threat management, Security Incident and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection and Prevention Systems, Log Management and Database Activity Monitoring
- Banking background is a must
- Good know how in information security standards and cyber security best practices
- Excellent stakeholder management and business analysis skills
- Competence in leading and coordinating global workgroups
