Customer Support Engineer - Digital Radio

The Business Line Car Infotainment & Driver Assistance is as part of the Business Unit Automotive responsible for the portfolio of semiconductors that are used in Car Radios.

The Role

Responsible for customer support within the Radio domain.
Q&A to NXP regional support.
Reviewing customer radio design.
Creating customer reference material (PCB or customer documents or software releases).
Reproducing customer reported issues in the lab.

The Individual

Experience in SW defined Radio domain (AM/FM, DAB, HD, DRM) = one of these domains is a must
Experience in technical customer support and/or design-in experience = MUST) 1-3 years
Hands-on experience in electronic design, Embedded SW and Digital Signal Processing (DSP). = MUST 1-3 years
Lab measurement skills & automated measurements experience 1-3 years
sector know-how: Software defined radio 1-3 years
foreign language: English business fluent
BSc or MSc in a technical specialism, like Electronic Engineering.
Excellent spoken and written communication skills (especially English).
1-3 years of Technical Customer Support and/or design-in experience
Experience in SW defined Radio development (AM/FM, DAB, HD, DRM)
Lab measurement skills & automated measurements experience.
Hands-on experience in electronic design, Embedded SW and Digital Signal Processing (DSP).
Willing to travel to customers.
