A leading Manufacturing client of Adecco is looking for a Customer Supply Coordinator to join their site in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The Customer Supply Co-ordinator (CSC) plays an important role as the interface between the client and their External Customers. They are a member of a team responsible for resolving issues from order receipt through to delivery for both Customers and CBD. They are a key influencer in the Customer's satisfaction with the service the client provide. The CSC has total accountability for their own results. The CSC also helps to ensure the successful delivery of new initiatives, large promotions and logistical projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE:

You will need to develop and deploy a range of skills and knowledge that will enable you to manage all aspects of a customer account. A high degree of initiative is a key requirement as well as a positive attitude. There will be regular customer contact, both verbal and written communication and you will need to develop a detailed understanding of the way your customers manage their business. Excellent organisational skills are required to enable you to manage the multiple priorities across your Customer.

Customer Ownership

You will work as part of a team and will manage a selection of Tier 2 and 3, where you will be responsible for all relevant Service Fundamental results across your customer base. ie ensuring customers comply to trade terms from an order point of view eg Quality Orders.

You will be expected to:

-Own results review meetings with your Customers/Key Internal contacts to ensure joint KPI's are on track.
-Develop pro-active relationship with CBD to facilitate stronger customer relationship.
-Possess in depth knowledge of the capabilities of client Order, shipping, Billing systems & processes in order to utilise them to the greatest advantage
-Investigate queries received from Customers and ensure prompt resolution
-Build & maintain good working relationships with your customers/CBD account contacts.
-Strict adherance to the daily processes and timeframe.
-Understand what initiatives are happening with your customer to enable smooth launch.
-Proactively communicate where appropriate and identify and fix any gaps in ordering.
