Customer Services Representative Job

CUSTOMER SERVICE/SALES REPRESENTATIVE needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Memphis, Tennessee.

- Keying and typing skills

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Responsible for processing international orders, quotations, returns, commissions, credits, invoices, and other export shipping documents
- Using telephone, calculator, PC, written procedures and product knowledge for proper orders
- Making decisions regarding order priority, pricing, modes of transportation, product identification, product sourcing, etc.
- Answering pricing and product inquiries, order and item status received via email, telephone, FAX, and mail from customers, dealers, and subsidiaries
- Ensure incoming product is receipted and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
- Ensure materials are ready and available for use as and when required.
- Processing emergency orders
- Must be open to working either 1st or 2nd shift

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Excellent telephone skills and the ability to handle multiple daily telephone calls in a positive manner
- Ability to develop and maintain positive relationship with dealers, customers, subsidiaries, U.S. divisions, and outside service companies (banks, transportation companies, freight forwarders)
- Ability to analyze situations and resolve problems (ie, consolidate shipments from various suppliers and ensure documentation for export is correct)
- Keying speed of minimum 7000 ksph and typing speed of 40 wpm
- Experience with AS400 operational system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to write legibly with correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
- Effective working in teams to achieve the department's objectives
