Customer Service Representative (Sales Call Center) Job

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, SALES-CALL CENTER SUPPORT needed for a 9-12 MONTH CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alton, IL. FOR THE RIGHT CANDIDATE THIS POSITION HAS THE POTENTIAL TO BECOME PERMANENT.

TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Telephone skills and manners along with basic typing-multi tasking skills
- Must be able to use the computer easily- Data entry skills, Microsoft Word, Outlook and Basic Excel.
- HAVE ACCESS TO A COMPUTER TO DO TESTING NEEDED TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Handle calls from customers for Customer Service or Sales. Able to transition calls into a sale.
- Responsible for addressing customer concerns efficiently and completely via the telephone and correspondence as appropriate.
- The position requires flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings via a rotating schedule.
- Must be available everyday of the week!
- Maintain a high level of knowledge on water, sewer and utilities lines. (You will be trained on these services.)
- Ability to handle difficult calls and avoid escalation whenever possible.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A High School Diploma or GED is a requirement
- One (1) plus Year of Call Center Experience
- One (1) plus Year of Sales Experience
- Be able to go through a 2-5 week training process with out missing any attendance. (Training is paid!)
- You need to be Team Player, but can work well alone. We are looking for those who get along with everyone, those who will help others and will be able to take constructive criticism to help learn more about their own job.
- Work ethic must be solid- we want people who can be at work with no excuses and be on time daily!

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Knowledge of how to use Lotus Notes is a plus.
- If you want to lock down this job for long term- you must have a great Work Ethic along with a strong Time and Attendance Record.
