Customer Service Representative

Gathers information for and generates ongoing financial reports. Helps with financial planning and modelling. Assists with preparation of operating budgets. Solid technology skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Experience Level: minimum 3+ years of direct relevant experience.

Billing and Collection experience with commercial (PPO, HMO, POS) type of insurances, and Medicare. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-9 HCPCS codes is required. Knowledge of medical terminology. Familiar with the 1500 and UB claim forms.

Candidate needs to have the following:

Min 4 years billing/coding
HS Diploma or GED Equi Required

Hours: 8:30 - 5:00

Team Size 8

Candidates mail role will be working with Health Connect Billing System - They will also be trained to use the following - Diamond, epremis and Kmate.

Candidates needs to have strong customer service skills, good understanding of insurance payor and regulations, computer savvy and work well as a team player.

Contractor will be following up on denied claims, interacting with insurance companies, interacting with internal claims.
