Customer Service Development Manager (Transport)

Projektbeschreibung

Our client is looking for a Customer Service Manager to develop and improve the customer experience as the organisation expands, taking into account customer needs. You will be working the department to ensure compliance and minimise disruption to Customers as Improvements to the network take place. Review the current service offering and develop improvements to enhance the customer offering particularly in relation to Special Events.

Key accountabilities:

- Establish effective working relationships with project managers
- Ensure customer requirements are addressed during PIDs (Project Initiation Documents
- Initiate Business Cases and PIDs to initiate new projects to enhance customer experience
- Review and verify designs for system expansion projects to ensure customer requirements are met
- Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) that require a customer requirement to be taken into account
- Attend all relevant project meetings, representing Passenger Services
- Work with marketing communications and the project team to ensure that the investment in other schemes are integrated into the customer service offering.

Key experience required:

- Experience of working within a passenger transport environment managing service delivery to customers.
- Previous experience of people management with clear understanding of best practice approaches to managing and motivating people not under direct control, setting clear objectives and challenging targets.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people in both a verbal and a written format.
- Proven experience of report writing at executive level succinctly and to time.
- Ability to develop productive joint working relationships.
- Ability to demonstrate negotiation and influencing experience.
- Experience of introducing projects into passenger service

Desirable experience:

- Project management experience.

Working for a well known organisation within the transport industry.
