CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE (CLAIMS CALL CENTER) needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Alton, IL.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Handle claims for customers on several different levels throughout the day.
- Responsible for addressing customer concerns efficiently and completely via the telephone and correspondence as appropriate.
- Document customer contacts and claims, as appropriate.
- Maintain a high level of application, process, water and sewer utility knowledge.
- Identify and relay to Team Supervisor areas of improvement within the customer inquiry and concern resolution process.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- A High School Diploma or GED
- You need to be Team Player, but can work well alone.
- Work ethic is solid- we want people who can be at work with no excuses and be on time daily!
- One (1) plus Years of Claims experience.
- Telephone skills-manners along with basic multi tasking skills
- Must be able to use the computer- Data entry skills, MS skills & Lotus Notes.
- Have access to a computer to do testing needed to qualify for this position.
- The position requires flexibility to work weekends and/or evenings via a possible rotating schedule.
- Ability to handle difficult calls and avoid escalation whenever possible.

BONUS POINTS! OTHERWISE KNOWN AS PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prior Call Center experience.
- Past work in an insurance or escalated level call center role.
