THE ROLE:
* Working in a call centre environment within the Collections and Recoveries team
* Helping negotiate repayment terms with customers to bring accounts back into order
* Educating customers to retain our relationships and ensure that repayments are made
* Building relationships with our customers to resolve complex and often emotional financial situations
* Identifying and reporting fraudulent accounts
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Call centre experience
* Customer service experience
* Ability to handle a range of queries and transactions
* Fast learners
* Excellent communication skills both written and oral
* Interpersonal skills needed to deal effectively with their customers and colleagues.
* Appropriate influence and negotiation skills
* Organise own time to achieve deadlines and targets
* Solve problems as they arise or know how and where to escalate them.
* Work independently and as part of a team as necessary
