Our client, a large financial institution, is looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join their team in Manchester Piccadilly, on a full/time basis of 35 hours a week, for an initial 12 month contract.

THE ROLE:

* A challenging call centre based role in our dynamic Retail Operations, Collections and Recoveries team

* Build relationships and negotiate with customers over the phone to bring accounts back into order

* Educating customers to retain relationships and ensure that repayments are organised

* A great opportunity to develop your customer service career in a specialist area of finance, where your intuition and experience will be encouraged and rewarded

* You'll work with our customers to resolve complex and often emotional financial situations, negotiating repayment terms of up to GBP 100,000 that are fair, both for us and for the customer

* You'll also identify and report fraudulent accounts to reduce our losses, escalating issues to your team leader or a relevant specialist

* Its all about building up your knowledge to suggest and implement ways to improve how we work, all while supporting and coaching less experienced colleagues

SKILLS REQUIRED:

* Experience of working in a call centre role

* Customer service skills

* Ability to handle a range of queries and transactions

* Were looking for fast learners who are excellent communicators and have a proven record in creating simple solutions to often/complex problems
