Join E.ON as a Customer Service Advisor and you'll make sure our Home Energy Services customers have the dependable heating, plumbing and electrical services they need. We'll provide thorough training and give you everything you need to get the job done well. You'll be handling a whole range of different calls and emails - and you'll make sure every customer finishes up satisfied. For you, that means plenty of opportunities to improve your customer service skills and do a job that offers real satisfaction.

As a Customer Service Advisor, I want to help us operate as efficiently as possible

You'll do that by managing incoming and outgoing customer calls, booking appointments and handling queries yourself wherever possible. If you need to, you'll pass any issues on to someone more senior, as well as keeping a thorough log of all the work requests received. You'll also stay in touch with other departments and contractors to make sure work is completed on time and to keep our customers up to date with any progress.

Strong customer service experience.
Proven ability to handle high call volumes.
Outstanding influencing and communication skills, particularly over the telephone.
Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
Good PC skills.

Key skill requirements

Essential

Experience of operating within a customer service environment, equivalent to 6 months telephone skills.
Experience of working in a high call volume environment.
Telephone techniques and influencing skills.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Attention to detail.
PC literate.
Problem resolution.
