Customer Project Manager - Must have Broadcast Experience

Our Broadcast Software client is looking to bring in a Customer facing Project Manager who will act as the bridge between the Technology development / delivery teams and the new key broadcast customers. We are looking for someone who has project management experience gained in the broadcast industry and has an understanding of broadcast media workflows and metadata.
To role will be to accurately gather the customers requirements and communicate these both internally and externally
Create and take ownership of the PID and develop and managed the project plan. You would be providing an on going bridge throughout the development and delivery for each customers solution, progressing them through the lifecycle and ensuring that the customers expectations are managed aligned and met.

This role is for immediate start only.

Experience and Knowledge required:

- Solid project management experience
- Experienced Managing broadcast software/application projects either from the broadcast channel or broadcast vendor end, but ideally both
- A good understanding of broadcast metadata / subtitling and Broadcast workflows
- Business Analysis skills or background, able to gather and communicate accurate deliver a clear pipeline of requirements to the product team
- Full project management lifecycle experience including the creation and ownership of Pids, detailed project plans, implementation plans

including key dates/milestones and customer side tasks, manage the risks issues and reporting etc
- Experience gained in a rapidly changing environment, ideally some startup experience
- Ideally experienced in the integration of disparate teams, getting them to work together to a common process, methods and goals
- Not highly technical PM but have an understanding of software development methods and lifecycle ideally exposure to both waterfall and Agile/scrum
- Strong commercial awareness, but able to represent the company and products in customer meetings and understanding contractual relationships with clients
- Able to manage customers expectations throughout, use tact and diplomacy for both the customer and product development teams and know what is /isn't reasonable and achievable
- Able to develop a best of practice template process that can be used and adapted for new customers
