THE ROLE
Setting up and continuous improvement of operations within a start up division of a large international bank.
- Setting up on boarding and monitoring (signalling management)
- Propose improvements in the CDD procedures and Banks operations process
- Write working instructions for operations processes
On boarding
- Assess increased risk items from automated KYC checks (such as Bad press, Adverse Media, PEP) on compliancy with Banks internal procedures
- Verify delivered information and documents
- Consistency and sanity check credit risk report, fraud indicators and Client Due Diligence (CDD) report
- Ensure all relevant Know Your Customer and Know Your Business information is stored and kept up to date
Signals management
- Perform defined monitoring activities of customers (eg adherence to payment terms and other customer trends)
- Treat automatic signals such as increased credit risk, missed payment, breach of convenant, information not timely delivered.
- Outbound calling on the signals
- Inbound calls of customers with regards to payment difficulties or related signals
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- HBO or University bachelor or master, preferably in business administration, business economics or law
- Minimum of 5 years relevant working experience
- Experience in areas CDD, (SME) Lending, credit risk and operational risk is a pre
- Experience in banking is a pre
- Languages: Fluent in Dutch, English at par.
- Digital savvy
- Self-starter and highly motivated
- Comfortable working in an agile environment/start-up
- Service oriented, accurate, risk aware and able to stand stress
