Customer Network Engineer (R&S)

FLINT CONSULTING IS SEEKING A CUSTOMER NETWORK ENGINEER WITH A STRONG EMPHASIS ON ROUTING AND SWITCHING (R&S) OF CISCO DEVICES. CCIE REQUIRED, WILL ACCEPT SITTING FOR CERTIFICATION

ACTIVITIES

This is a customer interfacing role with the following activities.

- Provide direct (onsite) and or over line phone/email/fax (remote) consultation independently to debug complex product problems.
- Provide systems/product training to Client resources

Act as a focal point for large account network problem resolution.

INTERFACES

- Internally with other CSE's, NCE (Network Consultant Engineer), Acc Manager, System Engineer, Ops Manager, Solution & Services Manager, Service Acc Manager
- Externally, interfacing with Customer Network Engineers, Ops Manager, Planning & Engineering Manager, Change Management Manager, VP Ops, VP planning team etc.

EXPERIENCE

- Typically requires BS in a technical field or equivalent
- 6-8 years related experience.
- Deep knowledge of telecommunication systems and network environments.
- Ideally candidate should come from Mobile Service Provider (familiar with 3G, 2G networks, SS7)

CCIE highly desired but NOT a must

- Works independently, receiving minimal supervision, with no instruction on routine work and general instruction on new assignments
- Ability and willingness to work various shifts
