Customer Insight and Testing Manager

Our client based in London is looking for a Customer Insight and Testing Manager to join the team on an initial 3 month contract with possibility to extend.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and embedding active use of customer insight within the organisation, ensuring that products and services are delivered with the customer at the centre.

This is an opportunity for an insight professional with a breadth of customer insight experience to really make a difference.

Key Skills and Responsibilities:

* Use specialist knowledge of qualitative, quantitative and usability testing techniques to establish a firm base of customer insight for the organisation.
* Provide the customer experience perspective to support Agile IT development, testing prototypes with customers to continuously improve.
* Transfer skills to others - within the team, and back into business areas, ensuring that the use of customer understanding and customer understanding techniques form a key part of the business process.
* Develop digital and social media channels for customers, working with the head of channels and campaigns, using evidence from customer insight and influencing business owners where appropriate.
* Support the digital by default policy by providing the customer insight and user testing to ensure that Digital Services are built around customer need.
* Contribute to the delivery of core customer standards for our core customer groups.
* Develop key segmentations to allow services to be better targeted and designed.
* Lead internal workshops to build customer understanding, and carry out tactical qualitative/quantitative research where required.
* Be an expert customer when commissioning external research, ensuring that the business gets the right result.

The successful candidate will need to work very closely with a variety of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure that activity is consistent with Departmental priorities, and show excellent influencing skills to provide innovative and customer-centric solutions.
