Customer Engineer

Yoh has a contract opportunity for a CUSTOMER ENGINEER to join our client in Washington DC.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- Project Location, NW, Washington, DC (Red Line-Union Station)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing company and multi-vendor systems which include hardware, software and networking products as well as operating systems.
- Installs and optimizes HW/SW/Networking product and configurations at customer sites.
- May diagnose and resolve product performance problems.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by advising customers on preventative maintenance and configurations which may impact product performance.
- Takes responsibility for potential or desired follow-up services (Sales/Systems Engineering) or problem escalation.
- Maintains a functional understanding of company service solutions.
- Support the Asset Forfeiture Customer Service Center by performing the following duties:
- Provide first level phone support for CATS end users and internal staff
- Records all inquiries and resolutions in Remedy help desk system
- Resolves Consolidated Asset Tracking Systems questions
- Completes Procurement packages to submit to the Government for new purchases and maintenance renewals.
- Manages and Maintains software inventory
- Manages administrative tasks
- Supports the CSC Manager to accomplish new project initiatives and administrative tasks

Job Qualifications:
- Two (2) year College degree
- Must have desktop support experience and knowledge
- Must be detailed oriented
- At least four (4) years of experience
- Detail oriented and must be able to think independently
- Excellent decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must have a "Do What Ever it takes" attitude
- Work schedule hours will range between 8 am and 8 pm
- Flexibility to work off hour and weekend as required
- Must have excellent communication skills and be very comfortable using Microsoft office products.
- Valid EQIP JPAS transfers acceptable
