Summary

Customer Development Executive - Assist the CDM with the management of this channel.

Develop and manage nominated accounts in order to drive profitable sales of clients branded products and be the main point of contact in the office for the customers.

Responsibility for all forecasting of customers using the organisations Business Planning Tools.

Manage specified customers.

Client Details

My client is a prestigious multinational consumer products company focused on the production, distribution and provision of household, health care and personal products.

You will be offered some of the best training available within the industry

-Deliver Net sales, GtN and margin targets across nominated accounts.
-Implement agreed account plans, within set budget, to include promotions and core range to meet account targets.
-Establish strong buyer relationships, building rapport with buyers to understand their needs and develop a business solution to meet their requirements.
-Facilitate accurate sales volume and value forecasting through organisations Business Planning.
-Utilise all appropriate sales out data to identify gaps in core range & other opportunities.
-Negotiate profitable local promotional activity and additional sitings.
-Work alongside the CDM on key strategic initiatives to drive future profitable growth for this channel.
-Support in the management and training of the field Sales team.
-Day to day management of budget and be office point of contact for shopper/category development initiatives and adhoc project work.
-Manage all account administration to include new line forms, accruals, promotional nominations, invoices and pricing
-Manage CBP forecasting.
-Submit opportunities on agreed basis to CDM's for sign off.
-Present key challenges and opportunities on selected accounts at team meetings.
-Attend customer meetings as and when required.

Qualifications:
Candidates should be educated to degree standard

Experience:
-Preferably in Wholesale, convenience or pharmacy with extensive proven sales experience but also other multiple customers
-Competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
-Knowledge of SAP

-Ability to work as part of a team
-The ability to achieve results through appropriate setting of priorities, planning and organisation
-Strong influencing and negotiation skills
-Effective interpersonal style, including the ability to communicate effectively with both external and internal customers
-Self-motivated, self-reliant, pro-active with 'can do' attitude
-Ability to gain immediate credibility with customers

Other:
Full, clean driving licence
