Custody Compliance Officer

My client, a leading Asset Management provider is looking for an EMEA Custody Compliance Officer to work within the Compliance Assurance Program.

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with the local custody Subject Matter Experts to ensure common standards and processes are applied where appropriate in each jurisdiction. The team is accountable for the creation and delivery of the regional custody compliance assurance program. You must also co-ordinate and review relevant approvals and reporting of results of the EMEA Custody CAP to senior management and outline the EMEA Custody Cap to regulators.

In order to be considered for this role Candidates will need to have proven CASS compliance experience within a financial background as well as knowledge of custody regimes in other EMEA jurisdiction beneficial. Throughout this role you will be required to deliver a 'consultancy' style service to EMEA local compliance officers and Operations partners in the custody business. The candidate must also have a wider knowledge of the FCA handbook to understand the balance sheet accounting. Finally the candidate must have strong time management skills and the ability to balance on-going job requirements with ad-hoc projects as well as a flexible approach to adapting to a fast paced business environment.
