Curam/Reports Developer

Our client, a large Queensland employer has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Curam Developer to join their team on an initial contract through until 30 June 2013 with possibility of extension.

As the Curam Developer you will provide high quality system and design development for our Client.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

- Carry out systems analysis and design activities in accordance with the methods described within the project methodology, standards and required by the Cúram framework;
- Carry out development activities in accordance with the methods described within the project methodology, standards and required by the Cúram framework;
- Provide advice on the impact of project change requests;
- Provide status reports to the technical team lead;
- Carry out quality assurance in relation to systems analysis, design and development activities;
- Undertake peer reviews of developer team members work; and
- Perform other software development tasks as required.

TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE;

- Demonstrated skills and practical experience in relation to JAVA software development in a similar environment including analysis, design and construction;
- Demonstrated broad experience in software analysis, design and construction on large-scale software development projects;
- Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills especially in communicating with business personnel;
- Proven ability to successfully work individually and as part of a multi-disciplinary information technology project team;
- Experience with Cúram;
- Experience with UML and/or Rational Rose and/or Oracle;
- Experience with human services and/or financial systems (Desirable).
