Curam/Java Developer

DUTIES: 

Position will function as a Developer for the software development of requirements, design and construction of a Cúram v6 implementation for a Client case management application.

Duties will include:

- Analyze, design, and develop application extensions using the Cúram developer toolset and Java/J2EE. Leverage and effectively use OOTB Cúram COTS functionality, while customizing to address the needs of the business.
- Analyze and modify application software code to fix defects and address changes.
- Develop and perform unit and systems test plans and report on test results.
- Perform product release management.
- Create and update design specifications and systems documentation.
- Provide technical support and guidance during implementation, deployment activities, and maintenance activities.
- Adhere to Client  and Information Technology policies and procedures
- Maintain and communicate accurate status of work performed. 
- Maintain current knowledge of technology and new computer applications.
- May be required to drive a personal motor vehicle in the course of the work. 

Special Skills:

- Minimum 2-5 years of verifiable Cúram and JAVA development experience in developing and designing solutions for an eligibility/human services system.

Experience in one or more of the following Cúram categories:

- Conversion
- Training
- Rules documentation/development in Cúram
- Workflow documentation/development in Cúram
- Designing and developing interfaces to the  Cúram framework
- Batch programs and/or Screens
- Experience with Java, WebSphere, Web Services, SOAP, JMS, WSDL, and XML.
- Knowledge of operation of personal computers, standard office software, SDLC, and IBM Rational tools required.
- Demonstrates professional organization, documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
- Ability to self-direct and work with minimal direction while meeting critical deadlines.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and detailed requirement and design documentation.
- Ability to work effectively with project team members.

Preferred:

- Cúram Certified Developer
- Experience integrating Cúram to ERP or 3rd party Human Health COTS.
- Experience with Rational Toolset and WebSphere ESB.
- Experience with any of the following Cúram modules:
- Financial Management, Service Planning, Intelligent Evidence Gathering, Global Income Support Screening, Reporting, Administration Suite, Decision Assist, Provider Management,
- Supervisor Workspace, Verification, Citizen Portal.
