DATA MANAGEMENT

- Assist with training and process integration of reporting solutions.
- Proactively analyze and troubleshoot existing business processes and workflows and make necessary changes to optimize performance and user experience.
- Analyze business process including interfaces with various systems from data validation through reporting, ensuring integrity of all processes and data within the system.
- Investigate audit and reconciliation failures and identify and implement a solution to resolve them. Interact with the appropriate teams as needed to identify and suggest solutions.
- Review audits to ensure that the data is accurate, it is published according to SLAs and ties back to the source systems. Investigate audit and failures and identify a solution to resolve them. Interact with the appropriate teams as needed to identify and suggest solutions.
- Work with analysis, development, test, and production support teams to ensure delivery of required system enhancements through SDLC and overall project success.
- Perform business validation testing on tools and models as requested.
- Create documentation, tools, and processes to support business processes.

PREFERRED COMPETENCIES:

- BA or BS in Finance or Information Systems with four to six years relevant experience (or related discipline) required
- 3 years of experience in Analysis Services, OLAP, MDX and cube development
- Strong system analysis skills and experience with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills (written, oral, interpersonal) along with ability to collaborate internally or cross group to influence stakeholders
- Ability to multi-task, deal effectively with ambiguity, and self-prioritize under pressure
- Strong problem solving ability and ability to utilize experience to improve processes and proactively drive opportunities to resolution without supervision and - or within stringent deadlines
- Working knowledge of the SDLC and associated processes
- Understanding of relational databases, strong T-SQL, familiarity with OLAP, and MDX as well as a strong passion for technology
- Experience and understanding of the Microsoft BI stack (SQL, Analysis Services, SSRS)
- Assist with design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of financial BI reporting and score-carding solutions for all customers, including SMSG, Business Group, and Corporate Finance
- Assist with the delivery of products and tools for Cloud Reporting
